Liberty F.C. visited the Avenue ground last Saturday in the Middlesex League (Premier Division) and were somewhat easily defeated by 4 goals to 0, the Town thus strengthening their leading position in this competition both in the matter of goal average and points. The Town were superior in all departments to their opponents, and the successful marksmen on the home side were G. T. Marchant, A. Tomkins (2) and A. W. Humphreys.
