(Extract from the report of the Easter tour) :

The Easter tour of Hampstead Town in Belgium proved one of the most successful and enjoyable events in the history of the club.

The party comprised the following players :- Messrs. C. Wise, F.G. Young, K. Seabrooke, S. Smith, E. Irwin, H.G. Barnes, W.E. Harris, R. Wardlaw, H. Pease, F. Iles, R. Brazier, E. Goodwin, O. Reinke, J.A Elderton, with H. Hughes (trainer). The club officials and friends included Mr. C.E. Timms (chairman) and Mrs. Timms, Messrs. W.J. Styles (hon. secretary), A.J. Crawley (hon. treasurer), E. Needham, A.W. Davis, H. Pike, W.S. Needham, W.J. Needham, H. Boyett, D.G. Pritchard, A. Parrott, Mrs. Boyett, Mrs. Young, Mrs. Iles and Mrs. Brazier.

Some of the staunch supporters of the club gave the party a royal send-off at Victoria. The journey was broken at Dover, where on Good Friday afternoon a match was played with Dover United, Hampstead winning by four clear goals before a big crowd. Irwin, Young, and Seabrooke (2) scored.
