Although not doing quite so well in their Christmas holiday League programme as they had anticipated, Hampstead Town have not completely wrecked their chances of ultimate success and they secure three points out of a similar number of games, two of these being played on opponents' grounds. They were unfortunate in not having the services of C. Wise at Sutton on Christmas Day, and of R. Wardlaw throughout the holiday, and the absence of these two fine players undoubtedly operated to the disadvantage of the team.
In their first match with Sutton United, which resulted in a draw 3-3, Smith, Young and Seabrooke scored.
