Hampstead closed their Athenian League programme last night, Barking Town being defeated on their own ground by four goals to two. The home club scored their two goals while Hampstead were one short. Shorland failed to turn up, and his place at back was after a time filled by Turner.
At the interval Hampstead were one goal down, but scored three times after the change of ends. Johnson got one goal and Walsh the others. This victory gives Hampstead 23 points from 26 games. They have scored 46 goals in the League, and had 51 registered against them.
[Team not given, but is based on that v Finchley, but with Wilton at left-back, and Shearcroft at centre-forward; Turner for Shorland is the only change reported.]
