The third and last match of the tour, with Jersey Island, resulted in a draw after a gruelling game. All four goals were scored before half-time.
The first goal, scored right at the beginning of the game by CHEVALIER rather upset Golders Green and the Jersey team tended to overrun the Golders Green end of the field. Gradually the visitors' play improved, however, and Soden and J. Hill worked well together to give BLOXHAM a chance to equalise, which he did.
Golders Green took the lead after 35 minutes' play, when SODEN scored after a fast run. He received the ball from Bloxham.
The whistle failed to blow until four minutes after half-time was due, and in this time CHEVALIER scored the Islanders' second goal.
The second half of the game provided many exciting moments, but neither forward line could pierce the other team's defence.
