We kept our interest in the London Senior Cup as we defeated a much improved Corinthian-Casuals side 4-2 to reach the third round.

We led 2-0 at the interval and our scorers were Gerry O'Rourke, Laurie Churchill, Jimmy Quail and David Hyde (penalty).

At one stage it looked as though fog would force the game to be abandoned but, with the aid of our lights, we just managed to finish the tie.
