We were fortunate to take both points from Hitchin on Tuesday. The defence played brilliantly with John Swannell, David Hogwood, Geoff Riddy and Roy Sleap at their very best.

The annoying part of this game was that we should have been at least three up at half time, but very poor finishing from easy chances left us just one up from a Danny Lakey goal. This was enough to win but were lucky to survive the last 30 minutes of continuous pressure from a lively Hitchin attack.
