The Wycombe result was a surprise to all, especially as we were two up at half time. Arthur Peel gave us a very early lead and David Hyde got the second to put us well on top. To help matters Wycombe missed a penalty just before halftime, but that did not seem to upset them.

With an inspired second half and a brilliant performance by our late skipper Tony Knox they managed to score three and give us our first League defeat of the season.
