Last Saturday we travelled to Champion Hill to play Corinthian-Casuals and lost 2-0.

We have sometimes been accused of over-praising our wins and glossing over our defeats. Let us therefore empahsise that the home team thoroughly deserved their victory and might easily have won by a greater margin.

Our team's performance might best be summed up as follows.

When we were drawing at half-time one of our officials remarked, "At any rate we can't play worse in the second half". He was wrong!
