Leytonstone at home was a good entertaining game and once again we trailed by a goal, this time after only three minutes, John Sutton being the visitors' scorer.

Goals from Ray Poole and Roy Sleap, however, gave us a half-time lead and although a Ken Gray goal put Leytonstone back on level terms, Paul Collett clinched the issue halfway through the second half.
