Lee talks about getting back to Silver Jubilee Park, getting so many of last season's squad back on-board for the new campaign, the signing of Cheyce Grant, the departure of Luke Tingey and the importance of the 12th Man Fund.

Our thanks to Lee for his time and to Steve for pitching the questions - the video is now on the HFCTV YouTube channel and available to watch at the below link.

Saturday 20 June - Twelfth Man Update

With Lee Allinson having gotten the spine of his side committed for the 2020/1 campaign we are still aiming to give him the most competitive budget possible through the 12th Man Fund.

The fund currently stands at approximately 15,000 pounds following the successful virtual match last month however still some way short of our 25,000 pound target. It is expected that the coming campaign could be ultra competitive so to give us the best chance possible of enjoying a successful season we are now looking for that extra push to get us over the line.

Lee has played his part in getting eleven names on-board for the new season, we are now looking for supporters to pledge and give what they are able to to help us top-up the playing budget and hit our target.

If you would like to make a pledge please contact Chairman Simon Lawrence on

Every pound helps us get a little closer to our target.

Friday 19 June - Player Sponsorships available now available

We are delighted to release our player sponsorship packages for the 2020/1 season including a couple of very special sponsorship opportunities.

As in previous seasons, supporters will have the choice of the following sponsorship packages with prices once again unchanged:

Home kit sponsor - 90 pounds

Away kit sponsor - 60 pounds

Home & Away kit sponsor: -120 pounds

Sock sponsor - 5 pounds (for Under-18s)

In addition we are this year launching a corporate player sponsorship package which costs 200 pounds and will entitle the sponsor to:

Sponsor's name on the website

Promotion and exposure on the club's social media channels

We also have two very special 'players' available to sponsor with the proceeds from these sponsorships being split between the club and Garden House Hospice in recognition of their outstanding voluntary and charity work this summer.

Betty-Leigh Allinson, who was this morning interviewed with Lee on Good Morning Britain, has now raised in excess of 16000 pounds for Garden House Hospice and garnered a string of celebrity endorsements from the world of football and beyond for her efforts.

Meanwhile, our former midfielder and cult-hero Dave Diedhiou has gone out of his way to assist his local community during the Coronavirus pandemic by volunteering with the NHS for more than 1100 hours over the past three months on top of holding down a full-time job.

Finally, Bryan Roberts has agreed to sponsor 'New Bloke', the name originally given to striker Daragh Duffy during the 2006/7 season and that has accompanied countless new faces since with the proceeds also being split between the club and Garden House Hospice.

Friday 19 June - Cheyce over as winger grants return

The first new signing to sign for the club is that of winger Cheyce Grant who was part of our successful Under-23 side in 2018/9.

Originally part of Boreham Wood's PASE scheme, Cheyce signed first-team forms for us in September 2018 making his only appearance in the London Senior Cup at Harrow Borough. Last summer he signed for Walton Casuals where he impressed before moving on to Beaconsfield Town later in the campaign.

Thursday 18 June - Tingey departs

Our longest-serving player Luke Tingey has left the club after 5 seasons in Green.

Luke joined the club on the eve of the 2015/6 season and quickly established himself as a regular in the side over the next three seasons. A brief spell at St Albans City in the summer of 2018 didn't work out and Luke returned to play in Jimmy Gray's first match as manager at Frome Town.

Across his five years with the club Luke made 186 appearances scoring 8 goals.

We'd like to thank Luke for his service and efforts at the club and wish him well for the future. Manager Lee Allinson said "I wish Luke all the best, he's a great lad and has been a pleasure to manage over the past six months or so."

Wednesday 03 June - Supporters Trust AGM delayed

The Hendon Football Club Supporters Trust AGM will not take place as it usually does in July this year but will instead take place later in the year.

The reasons for this are twofold. Firstly, given the likely restrictions that will still be in place around social distancing there is no guarantee that we will be able to safely hold the event at Silver Jubilee Park as usual, particularly as well given the ongoing refurbishment works at the ground.

Additionally, the HFCST year end has moved from January to June and moving the AGM to later in the year will allow for the accounts to be fully audited and presented to members in advance of the meeting.

If anyone has any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact the Trust chairman Cyrus Cooper on
