Youth team round up

It was a bit of a mixed weekend for the youth teams, with the under 18's winning 2-1 against Bridge Rovers thanks to goals from Stephan Chambers and Narcisse Nono and the under 12's drawing 2-2 against promotion rivals FC Roundwood, Damilola Thomas scoring both goals.

Two players released

Two players have been released in the past couple of weeks.

Hendon win game of two halves

It's one of the footballing cliches most often used, but today was a real game of two halves.

Slough game goes ahead

Our away league game against Slough Town on Tuesday will go ahead on Tuesday evening after the Rebels lost 3-2 to Gravesend & Northfleet in the FA Trophy this afternoon.

More shirts now on sale

The club shop have had another delivery of replica home shirts.

Folkestone game is on

The club have confirmed this morning that they expect this afternoon's game against Folkestone Invicta to go ahead as planned.

No plans for inspection tomorrow

There are no plans for a pitch inspection prior to tomorrow's home game against Folkestone Invicta.

Nartey moves on

Joe Nartey has been released from the club, thus ending his second spell with us.

Under 18 game postponed

Tomorrow nights under 18 game against Young Stars has been postponed as Young Stars are unable to field a side.

Youth team round up

There were just two youth teams in action this weekend.

Frendo free kick worth three points

A 71st minute John Frendo free kick was enough to earn Hendon all three points as they won 1-0 at Windsor & Eton this afternoon.

McGrath signs

Gary McCann has made his first signing since taking over as manager by securing the services of experienced defender Steve McGrath, who has played many games at this level including spells with Aldershot Town and Enfield.

Reserves suffer another defeat

Despite fielding an experienced line up, the reserves slipped to a comprehensive 5-1 defeat at the hands of a quick Windsor & Eton side.

Greens in rare draw

Hendon had their second league draw of the season this evening as they drew 0-0 against Chelmsford City.

Sargent moves on

Dave Sargent left the club this afternoon and has returned to Northwood.

Leyton game rearranged

Our outstanding away league game at Leyton has been rearranged, and will be played a month today, Tuesday 15th March, kicking off at 7.

First team in action again tonight

The first team are back in action tonight in what is likely to be the last midweek home game of the season as they entertain Chelmsford City in a game that will kick off at 7.

Away programmes available in shop

A number of programmes from away games this season are now available in the club shop.

The under 18's put in another good performance on Saturday afternoon as they drew 1-1 at Crown & Manor, Stephan Chambers scoring the goal.

Sargent double earns Greens win

Gary McCann's reign as Hendon manager started well this afternoon as the Greens ended their barren run of results with a 2-1 victory over a well organised and hardworking Cheshunt side, for whom Ross White shone in midfield.

First team back in action tomorrow

Following their twelve day break, the first team are back in action tomorrow afternoon as they entertain Cheshunt.

First win for reserves

The reserves picked up their first win of the season at Aylesbury United this evening, helped by the fact that the strongest available first team side was fielded and led by the new management team of Gary McCann and Andy Pape.

Under 18s win in cup

The under 18s won again on Saturday afternoon as they overcame Young Stars 3-1 in the U20s Divisional Cup.

Gary Anderson returns as Physio

Gary Anderson has returned to the club to take charge of the physiotherapy.

Strong side to play at Aylesbury

We will be sending a strong side to Aylesbury to fulfill the reserve team fixture in the Capital League.
