Edinburgh Marathon 2005

Following the exploits a few weeks ago of Phil Rogers, René Street and Dave Garner in running the London Marathon, Steve Rogers will be running the Edinburgh Marathon on 12th June to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Pitch work started

The summer remedial work on the pitch started this week.

Sixth friendly arranged

A sixth pre-season friendly has been arranged, and we will be making the short trip to Kingsbury Town on Tuesday 9th August.

Youth players and managers wanted

The club are looking for players of all ages from 11 to 17 for the youth teams next season.

Isthmian League champions to visit

Isthmian League champions Yeading will be visiting Claremont Road for a pre-season friendly on Tuesday 2nd August.

Merchandise page updated

The merchandise page has been updated to reflect the current stock in the club shop.

Same kit next season

It has been confirmed that there will not be a change of kit this summer and all Hendon teams will be wearing the same kit once again next season.

Another friendly arranged

A fourth friendly has been confirmed and will take place on Thursday 4th August when we travel to Enfield Town for a 7.

Supporters Association AGM

The Supporters Association AGM will take place in the clubhouse on Tuesday 12th July at 8.

Provisional league line up announced

The Football Association have this morning announced the provisional league line ups for the 2005/06 season.

April 150 club draw

The April draw of the 150 club was made this evening at the Supporters Association committee meeting, and the winning number is 105.

Two players return to Hendon

Gary McCann has made his first two signings of the summer, and in both cases it is former players returning to the club.

Under 18s finish with a win

The playing season for all Hendon sides came to a close this afternoon as the Under 18s ran out 2-1 winners over Young Stars at Claremont Road.

King wins website award

With the man of the match voting now closed for the season, we are delighted to announce that Dave King has won the 2004/05 Greensnet Player of the Season award having won 8 of the man of the match votes this season.
