In the summer we teamed up with an Academy to provide football and education opportunities for Under 18 players.

The Academy was lucnhed last year at Hackney Community college, which runs in association with the Academy of Sport East London. Their U18 side played in the Ryman Youth League for Tilbury and on the back of their success from last season they have now taken up the opportunity to join up with Hendon to become our newly formed Under 18 team.

A number of their youth players also played regularly for Tilbury's reserve team and a few made first team appearances as well.

The Football Academy had an outstanding debut season in the league, whilst reaching the FA Youth Cup - Third Qualifying Round.

This season, the Under 18 side will be playing in the Cheshunt Youth League, and the website will be following their progress throughout the campaign.

The team will be coached by Jason Fevrier and Lee Hayes, and the academy co-ordinator is Les Fevrier who can be contacted via email on lesfev@aol.com.
