We have been advised by Chesham United that admission to Saturday's David Stanley Memorial Shield match will be free. They are holding a community day, and the gates will be open from 1pm.

We would also like to advise supporters that there is some planned travel disruption.

The Metropolitan Line will be closed between Central London and Harrow-on-the-Hill on Saturday, but trains will be operating as normal between Harrow and Chesham.

Trains depart from Harrow-on-the-Hill at 17 and 47 minutes past the hour, and you will need to change at Chalfont & Latimer station to catch the Chesham shuttle. The journey time from Harrow to Chesham is 35 minutes.

Return journeys depart from Chesham at 01 and 31 minutes past the hour, and again you will need to change at Chalfont & Latimer station to travel back to Harrow.

The good news is that Chiltern Railways will be operating a normal service between London Marylebone and Amersham (and beyond to Aylesbury), with one additional train per hour operating between London and Harrow-on-the-Hill. You will need to change on to the Metropolitan Line at either Harrow-on-the-Hill or Chalfont & Latimer.
