Hendon moved up to 12th in the table with an emphatic 4-1 win over bottom side Fareham Town at Moneyfields yesterday afternoon.

Dave Diedhiou opened the scoring with his fourth goal in his past three matches from a Rohdell Gordon corner, before Bradley Dixon-Smith unleashed a superb strike from fully 30 yards to make it 2-0 midway through the first half.

A defensive error allowed Charlie Cooper to reduce the arrears just before half-time.

Sam Shaban's header for his tenth goal of the season eased any Hendon nerves eight minutes after the break, and 17-year-old Harry Brant fired home his first goal for the club in the closing stages to secure the three points.

Next up for the Greens is the local derby at home to Harrow Borough on Saturday. Kick off for that is 3pm.
