Hendon's unbeaten run came to a grinding halt at Harrow Borough this evening as they were knocked out of the Isthmian League Cup 4-1.

A disastrous evening for the Greens saw them finish the game with 9 men, as the home side ran out comfortable winners in front of an unusually febrile atmosphere for a League Cup tie.

Florian Ada's first goal of the season got much-changed Hendon off to the ideal start before Charlie Malin equalised three minutes later. The pendulum swung firmly in the home side's favour when Josh Strizovic was sent off for a foul in the penalty area on the hour mark, Gareth Chendlik firing home the spot kick.

Reece Robins beat Dave Diedhiou to make it 3-1 before Lenny Farhall made it four with a minute to go after Richie Mbele had seen red for a second caution shortly before.

Next up for the Greens is a home league match against Bognor Regis Town on Saturday kicking off at 3pm.
