Hendon's final away game of a miserable 2024/25 season saw the Greens go down 5-1 against Potters Bar following an implosion in the final half-hour that mirrored the return fixture on Boxing Day.

Both games had been level after an hour before the Greens fell of a cliff, conceding four times in the final 30 minutes on both occasions.

Joe Re took advantage of a goalkeeping error to give the hosts the lead before an equally helpful piece of goalkeeping saw Stefan Ilic grab an immediate equaliser, his long-range effort slithering through the legs of Luke Mewitt in the Bar goal.

With the game poised at 1-1 going into the final half an hour, Nana Kyei gave Bar the advantage before a brace from teenager Harry Brant and a second from Re gave the home side an emphatic win, taking advantage of some generous defending from Ben Bukowski's side.

The season concludes tomorrow at SJP with the visit of also-relegated Bognor Regis Town. Kick off is at 3pm.
