Hendon came close to finally picking up that elusive win at Canvey Island last week before a late dismissal and equaliser gave the hosts a share of the spoils.

After the hosts had the better of the opening 45 minutes, Kofi Anokye-Boadi gave the Greens the lead, tapping home after superb work by Leo Sery and Tope Fadahunsi.

Unfortunately, Nikolai Krokhin saw yellow for the second time and was dismissed seven minutes from time, allowing Chris Smith to head home the equaliser from close range.

The point leaves the Greens eight points behind Dulwich Hamlet with fifteen points up for grabs. Today, they host Chichester City at SJP kicking off at 3pm.
