Hendon failed to hold on to a 2-goal advantage against Step-4 side Rayners Lane last night to exit the Middlesex Senior Cup at the quarter final stage.

Billie Busari opened the scoring with the club's first goal in six weeks before Marco Correira was dismissed on the stroke of half-time for the visitors for a high challenge on Stefan Ilic.

Although Niko Muir extended the Hendon advantage shortly after the break, Omarr Lawson hit back immediately for the visitors. Former Green Frank Keita equalised midway through the half before Jamie Splatt grabbed the winner late on as Rayners Lane continued their defence of the trophy.
