Hendon's festive calendar got off to the worst possible start on Saturday when a late penalty consigned them to defeat at Chichester City, before Potters Bar made the most of a man advantage this afternoon at SJP to win 4-0.

Kombe Kawimbe was dismissed with 15 minutes to go at Chichester for the Greens on his debut before Jimmy Wild sealed the points with a late spot kick for the home team.

This afternoon, Makai Welch was shown a straight red card moments after Ronnie Henry had given Potters Bar the lead. Brandon Adams (2) and Joe Re also scored in the final half an hour to seal the points for the visitors and keep Marc Charles-Smith waiting for his first win as Hendon manager.
