Hendon picked up a useful point on Saturday after a 2-2 draw at Bognor Regis Town.
A stodgy first half saw the deadlock broken when Joe White beat the offside trap to finally beat Joe Besant at the third time of asking, and Kai Brosnan continued his fine opening to the campaign when he steered home a second five minutes after the break.
The hosts responded three minutes later with a fine effort from Tommy-Lee Higgs before piling on the pressure. That endeavour was rewarded in the 72nd minute when Lucas Pattenden drove home a low, angled shot to secure a deserved share of the points for the hosts.
