Two goals from Patrick Casey in the first half were the difference as Charlton Athletic's Under 21s won the London Senior Cup at Champion Hill on Monday evening.
Casey's deflected effort after five minutes was added to by a well-finished counter-attack as the Greens struggled to impose themselves on the game. However, it was almost a siege in the second half as Hendon peppered the Charlton penalty area, but without success.
It was a grandstand finish when Mert Apat grabbed his first goal for the club but despite plenty of pressure, the Addicks held on to secure their second consecutive London Senior Cup triumph.
