Hendon picked up another good point on the road in South Wales as they fought out a 1-1 draw with Merthyr Town at Pennydarryn Park.
Hendon took a deserved first half lead when Dan Matsuzaka tapped home after a goalmouth scramble before Dylan Berry made a superb save from a Ricardo Rees penalty to preserve the advantage at the break.
It was all hands to the pump after the interval as Merthyr pushed for an equaliser and it came after the referee adjudged Thomas Handley's effort to have crossed the line following another goalmouth scramble.
In the end it was honours even thanks to Matsuzaka's third strike of the campaign.
