There were contrasting games on offer for the Hendon faithful over the Easter weekend, with Beaconsfield Town winning a nine-goal thriller at Silver Jubilee Park on Saturday before a scrappy 0-0 draw at Hayes & Yeading United yesterday.
Josh Payne was the hero for Beaconsfield with a hat-trick, including two from the spot on Saturday as the Rams won 5-4 for their first ever win over the Greens. Hendon's goals came from Billy Leonard, Shaun Lucien, Niko Muir, and Kurtis Cumberbatch.
Yesterday, an injury hit Hendon side were only able to name two substitutes as they kept a welcome clean sheet at relegation threatened Hayes & Yeading United to secure a point that retains their 9th place in the table.
