Hendon put in a thoroughly professional performance last night at Silver Jubilee Park to pick up a second consecutive clean sheet and beat Poole Town 2-0.
After an even first half the deadlock was broken by a smart finish from Billy Leonard after he seized on a loose ball in the penalty area on 65 minutes. Hamza Semakula then sealed the three points with a wonderful strike from fully 30 yards that hit the top corner of the net to complete a good evening for Lee Allinson's men.
The result lifts Hendon to 9th in the table, one place above Saturday's opponents Winchester City who travel to Plymouth Argyle to play Plymouth Parkway on Thursday evening.
