Hendon moved into the semi finals of the Middlesex Senior Cup with a 3-2 win over neighbours Northwood in a tie settled by the deadly feet of Niko Muir.

Dan Williams, playing against the Greens for the first time since leaving last season, opened the scoring with a sensational strike from 25 yards, before Muir equalised before half-time with a neat near post finish.

Muir then added his second of the game with a sublime curling effort into the top corner before completing his hat-trick with a powerful low drive, taking him to 20 goals for the season.

Northwood reduced the arrears immediately through Kofi Anokye-Boadu, but Hendon held on to join Hayes & Yeading, Rayners Lane, and either Barnet or North Greenford United in the last four.
