Hendon ended 2023 with a mixed bag of results as they lost 2-0 to Plymouth Parkway just before Christmas before overcoming Harrow Borough 3-1 in the Boxing Day derby.
Plymouth were good value for their win as their clinical finishing and defensive solidity were too much for the Greens to overcome, the goals coming from Toby Down and Jack Grago. Although the Greens had opportunities, they were punished for their wasteful finishing.
Three days later at Earlsmead, they made their man advantage count as they came from behind to secure the points. Excellence Muhemba was at the forefront of the first half action for the Reds, scoring after 33 minutes before seeing red for two swift yellow cards in succession.
Niko Muir equalised on the stroke of half time, before the Greens took control after the break, Kai Brosnan and Hamza Semakula scoring to secure the points for Lee Allinson's side.
