Hendon moved into the 4th round of the FA Trophy for the first time since 2019 with a superb 2-0 win over National League South side Weymouth at a blustery Silver Jubilee Park this afternoon.
Finlay MacNab followed up Joe White's saved shot to slide home the opener after 27 minutes and although Weymouth had plenty of pressure in the second half, debutant goalkeeper Brad House was superbly protected by his two centre halves, Ethan Light and Dan Matsuzaka.
The game was made safe in second half stoppage time when Kai Brosnan led a counter-attack and squared the ball to Billy Leonard who calmly picked his spot to provoke bedlam amongst the home faithful.
The draw for the next round will take place on Monday afternoon, we will provide further details as soon as we have them.
