Hendon were sunk by a minute of madness on Saturday afternoon as Swindon Supermarine boosted their survival hopes with a well-deserved 3-2 win at Silver Jubilee Park.
The result handed the Greens their first league defeat at home of the campaign and looked on the cards when David Sims-Burgess continued his fine goalscoring form since joining the visitors from Taunton Town in the 5th minute.
Two strike from Kai Brosnan either side of the break gave the Greens the advantage, before a Toby Raison header and strike from Levi Irving within a minute of each other gave the visitors the advantage that they rarely looked like surrendering.
Next up for the Greens is the visit of Weymouth on Saturday afternoon in the FA Trophy 3rd round.
