Hendon overcame a sluggish opening 45 minutes to defeat AFC Sudbury and earn the club's first win in the FA Trophy since a 2-1 win over Staines Town in 2018/19.
After a goalless first half that saw the visitors have the better of proceedings without managing to breach Matt Kerbey's goal, a superb solo goal from Blaise Riley-Snow gave the Greens the lead just after half-time.
Dave Diedhiou added a second before Romario Dunne pulled a goal back with a fine strike. Niko Muir wrapped things up in stoppage time to make it 3-1 and secure Hendon's place in Monday's draw.
