The FA have this afternoon announced the provisional league line-up for next season. As expected, Margate have gained a reprieve from relegation for the second season in a row due to the demise of various clubs higher up the pyramid.
There are no clubs relegated to the Ryman League from Blue Square South, whilst coming up from Division One North are Concord Rangers and Lowestoft Town, and from Division One South are Folkestone Invicta and Croydon Athletic. Also joining us from the Zamaretto League Midland Division are Bury Town.
The full list is as follows : AFC Hornchurch, Aveley, Billericay Town, Bury Town, Canvey Island, Carshalton Athletic, Concord Rangers, Cray Wanderers, Croydon Athletic, Folkestone Invicta, Harrow Borough, Hastings United, Hendon, Horsham, Kingstonian, Lowestoft Town, Maidstone United, Margate, Sutton United, Tonbridge Angels, Tooting & Mitcham United, Wealdstone.
The constitution will be confirmed at the Ryman League AGM which takes place in mid-June. The FA have also said that they have a number of issues still to be sorted out, so it is possible that there may be some alterations to the list ahead of the AGM.
Fixtures are expected to be released in mid-July, and the new season will start on Saturday 21st August.
