Hendon slumped to a first league defeat of the campaign with the long journey to Plymouth Parkway mirroring last season's visit, albeit with the concession of only half as many goals.

A handball decision from close range went against the Greens early on allowing Ryan Lane to hammer home the spot kick before a defensive error saw Joe Belsten lob home a finish from 50-yards to double the advantage.

Things went from bad to worse on the stroke of half-time with the dismissal of Dave Diedhiou for his part in a melee. The scoring was completed with 13 minutes left when Matt Kerbey was adjudged to have brought down Jack Crago inside the penalty area. Kerbey was dismissed before Lane beat Joe White from the spot.
