A superb performance with 10-men for most of the second half was rewarded with three valuable points yesterday afternoon against Plymouth Parkway.
After Tom Bath had given the visitors an early lead, just reward for a bright opening, Dave Diedhiou swiftly responded with a far post header to equalise, his 11th goal of the campaign.
Both sides created good openings before excellent link-up from Niko Muir and Joe White saw the latter lift the ball over the Parkway goalkeeper to give Hendon the half-time advantage.
Dave Diedhiou then saw red for a second yellow card just three minutes after the restart before Niko Muir added a third with a clinical finish on the counter-attack.
Hendon's ten men were relatively comfortable for the remainder of the half and posed a threat on the break as they picked up their first win in 10 league matches to move out of the relegation places on goal difference.
