Despite making four changes from the defeat at Yate, including a first start for Lucas Perry since November 2021, Hendon were deservedly beaten at Chesham on Saturday by 2-0.
Joe White got an early 25-yard effort in which was well saved by the keeper, before Chesham took the lead around the half-hour mark when Jeanmal Prosper was sent clear to give Chesham the lead. On the stroke of half-time a Dave Diedhiou header hit the bar but stayed out.
Within five minutes of the restart a misplaced pass in defence saw Liam Ferdinand convert an easy chance to put Chesham two up. Despite a triple substitution half way through the second half Hendon were unable to find any way past the Chesham defence.
