For the second time in three weeks, Hendon battled valiantly against play-off contenders only to see defensive errors be their undoing in a seven-goal thriller.

Liam Brooks gave Hendon a dream start in the third minute only for Mickael Platt to equalise four minutes later. Platt added his second before half-time before Joe Grant grabbed his first of the afternoon with a superb diving header.

Guri Demuria thumped home his first goal for the club from a corner to reduced the arrears before Grant made it 4-2, tapping in a free kick at the far post. Shaun Lucien marked his first league appearance in nearly a year with a neat injury time finish to make it 4-3 as the Robins held on for three crucial points.
