Hendon survived a first-half scare yesterday evening to overcome Erith Town 4-2 at Silver Jubilee Park and progress to the 2nd round of the London Senior Cup.

Robbie Buchanan gave Hendon the early lead only for Erith to score twice before the break to hold the half-time lead.

Joe White's penalty restored parity before Gabriel Odunaike scored moments later to give Hendon the advantage. A searing drive from Bobson Bawling secured a 4-2 win and passage into the next round where AFC Wimbledon await.
