Hendon were heavily beaten in their basement battle at Plymouth on Saturday afternoon after going down 6-0 to Plymouth Parkway at Bolitho Park.

The game hinged on the 17th minute dismissal of Hendon goalkeeper Marcin Brzozowski for handball outside the penalty area after momentum on a slick surface had seen him carry the ball out of the 18-yard box with the scores locked at 0-0.

Tommy Brewer took the gloves and had little chance as Plymouth took full advantage of their man advantage, scoring six times without reply with three goals in each half.

Hendon's afternoon was compounded after the final whistle when Liam Brooks' frustration overspilled into a comment to the referee that saw him also shown the red card.
