Hendon rode out a tough opening half an hour to beat Potton United 5-1 in the FA Cup first qualifying round this afternoon.
After Gio Palmer was adjudged to have handled the ball in the first half, Sam Willis scored from the spot.
Joe White equalised just before the break, and Potton captain Jessy Amoo saw red for an off the ball incident moments later.
Robbie Buchanan's 47th minute strike was added to by a deflected effort from Arthur Iontton and two from Frank Keita to secure Hendon's place in the hat on Monday afternoon.
