Hendon picked up another three points this afternoon as they won 3-2 at Canvey Island. The Greens had a perfect start when Lubomir Guentchev opened the scoring after 3 minutes, and midway through the half, Bradley Thomas doubled the lead with his first goal for the club.
Canvey pulled a goal back through Jason Hallet on the stroke of half-time, but Hendon continued to create chances and were rewarded in the 72nd minute when Guentchev scored his second of the afternoon. James Rowe scored a second for Canvey as the game moved into stoppage time, but the Greens held on to secure the three points.
