A bumper crowd witnessed Hendon run a talented young Arsenal side all the way at Silver Jubilee Park this evening in a keenly contested friendly match.

Dave Diedhiou scored his first goal in a Hendon shirt since his return to the club before Arsenal equalised with a scrappy goal before half-time.

The Gunners played the second half with 10-men after the dismissal of their skipper for a poor challenge on Joe White.

Hendon did score a second goal before the break from a set-piece, however it was ruled out for offside.
