Goalkeeper Fred Burbidge announced on Twitter earlier this week that he has decided to leave the club in search of regular first-team football elsewhere.
Signed last summer from Isthmian Leaguers Potters Bar Town, Fred was a near ever-present until February and after a sticky autumn, found some excellent form throughout November, December and January, earning the Player of the Month award just after the turn of the New Year.
Unfortunately for Fred, the arrival and form of Ethan Wady restricted him to just a single further appearance in the final three months of the campaign leading him to seek pastures new this summer.
In total, Fred made 33 appearances, keeping seven clean sheets.
We'd like to thank Fred for his efforts whilst with the club and wish him every success for the future.
