Hendon take on Beaconsfield Town at Silver Jubilee Park this coming Saturday 2 April. Kick-Off 3.00pm.

The bar will be open from midday, with food and hot drinks available from two outlets. It's Hendon Greens versus Beaconsfield Rams. We last met on Monday 15 November last in a lively 2-2 draw at Holloways Park, with all four goals coming in the first half.

The fixture has been designated Wellbeing Day and we shall welcome people from the SJP Community Team, the dementia friendly group with their families and carers, Brent Early Intervention Service, Brent Talking Service and Community Action on Dementia Brent. We trust they will all appreciate and enjoy the matchday experience.

Manager Lee Allinson will have plenty to contemplate after the Greens capitulation at Weston-Super-Mare last weekend. Lee's apology and comment that we have to re-group and work harder is acknowledged and in the time-honoured words, the harder we work, the luckier we get. With the window for new registrations closing last week, he will have to mix, match, manage and motivate to get the best out of our squad.

Beaconsfield arrive on the back of a two each draw with Wimborne Town to put themselves in a solid mid table position. They are four places and five points ahead of us, both with five games remaining to play. They have scored and let in more goals than us but have a similar negative goal difference. Bar the bottom two Wimborne and Merthyr, they have conceded the most goals in the division.

A visitor who our defence might have to think hard about is Nathan Minhas who has played higher and is among the top scorers in the division. His double against Wimborne last weekend gave him a decent return of 25 league goals this term.

All things being equal during the course of a season, any mid-table team might expect at least one good win by a better than usual margin, countered by one heavy defeat. On this note, our visitors will remember putting seven past Gosport Borough on 26 February but conceding a similar seven at Taunton on 16 October. They have also recorded five's at home to Harrow Borough and Swindon Supermarine but conceded five at Tiverton and four away at both Merthyr and Yate.
