Hendon picked up a well deserved point from this afternoon's visit to the south coast as they drew 1-1 with play-off chasing Gosport Borough.
In a pretty drab affair made trickier by the blustery conditions, Hendon drew first blood when Liam Brooks' 20-yarder swerved beyond the goalkeeper into the net off the inside of the post.
Both sides then hit the woodwork in the opening stages of the second half before the home side equalised with 13 minutes remaining, Harvey Rew firing home from inside the box after a cross from the right hadn't been dealt with.
