There have been a number of changes to the squad with a couple of new signings in the past couple of days whilst three players have departed for pastures new.
Joining is defender Matt Hall who has signed for the club from Southern League Central Premier Division side, Biggleswade Town. Matt is a tall 25-year old centre-half who began his career with Watford before moving to Scotland with Ross County. After a year in Scotland, he returned back to the home counties with Hemel Hempstead Town before taking in spells with Northwood, Chesham United, Barton Rovers, Hayes & Yeading United and Beaconsfield Town.
The second new face is forward Hani Berchiche who has been a regular with Wingate & Finchley in the past few months. Prior to that Hani was at Blue Square South side Concord Rangers and is no stranger to Silver Jubilee Park following an earlier spell with Edgware Town. After his time with the Wares he had spells with Wembley, Met Police, Chalfont St Peter and Welwyn Garden City.
We'd like to offer a very warm welcome to both Matt and Hani and wish them well at SJP.
Meanwhile, exiting the club are midfielders Kyron Richards, Cain Keller and Yasin Arai.
It's not known where Kyron has gone, however Yasin Arai has taken the opportunity to join Royston Town whilst Cain Keller has taken the reverse trip to Matt Hall and will team up with Joe Howe at Biggleswade Town.
We'd like to thank all three for their efforts in their time with the club this season and wish them well for their future endeavours.
