Hendon progressed to a home last-eight tie in the London Senior Cup on Tuesday night with a 5-4 penalty shoot-out win over Balham.

Jayden Clarke's 30th minute opener was cancelled out shortly afterwards by a superb free kick from Tom Read before Anis Nuur's first Hendon goal against his former club just before the break gave the Greens the half-time advantage.

James Adebayo equalised late on to take the game to penalty kicks and the home side held their nerve to fix a quarter-final meeting with Dulwich Hamlet.
