Thursday afternoon saw Silver Jubilee Park's Charitable Foundation host their 2021 awards afternoon celebrating the many and varied community funded programmes that SJP put on at the ground.
With a number of guest speakers including Clive Ellington from Alpha & Omega FC, Richard Hay who has been so integral to the mental health football projects, and Danny Maher from Hendon FC's charity partners, Ashford Place, the afternoon saw a number of certificates and SJP Charitable Foundation Champion awards handed out to a number of deserving winners.
Rob Morris and Clive Ellington also announced that the SJP Charitable Foundation has been chosen as one of just three organisations to partner the Raheem Sterling Foundation. The partnership will see Raheem work alongside the partners to launch projects aimed at helping young people within the London Borough of Brent.
This is fantastic news for the team at SJP and not only rich reward for the tireless efforts in providing services and support for the most vulnerable within our local community but also will help provide the tools to continue to do so, as well as expanding the offerings to a wider number of people throughout Brent.
We will bring you news of what these projects are throughout 2022 and continue to support all of the community projects that take place at Silver Jubilee Park as a football club as best we can.
