We are shocked to have learned this morning of the sudden passing of former striker Marvin Morgan. Marvin, who was just 38 years old, joined us under Jimmy Gray at the start of the 2018/19 season.

Although Marvin made just seven appearances for the club without scoring, he had a strong influence on the younger players at the club with Ricky German, in particular, benefitting from the experienced striker's know-how.

Marvin began his career at Wealdstone and following spells with Yeading and Woking, went on to forge a successful career in the Football League with Aldershot Town, Dagenham & Redbridge, Shrewsbury Town, Plymouth Argyle and Hartlepool United before moving back into Non-League. In more recent years he set up a fashion label, Fresh Ego Kid, which gained a number of high-profile celebrity endorsements and also his own football club to raise awareness around men's mental health and racism through football.

The thoughts of everyone connected with the club are with Marvin's friends, families and loved ones at this sad time.
