In an entertaining FA Trophy match a good Hendon performance once again went unrewarded as a host of missed second half opportunities saw them bow out of the competition at high-flying Isthmian Leaguers Folkestone Invicta.

Scott Heard gave the home side the lead with a neat finish on 38 minutes before Shaun Lucien deservedly levelled things up on the stroke of half-time with his first goal of the campaign.

Adam Yusuff's effort deceived Fred Burbidge to restore the home side's advantage 11 minutes after the restart before heavy Hendon pressure didn't quite find the finish it needed to force penalty kicks.
