The FA Cup 1st Qualifying Round draw was released at 1pm this afternoon and sees Lee Allinson's troops waiting a little longer to find out who they'll be playing on September 4th.
The draw has given the Greens an away tie against the winners of a Preliminary Round replay between Corby Town and Soham Town Rangers. Both sides play one division below Hendon in the Northern Premier League Division One Midlands and they served up an exciting 3-3 draw at the weekend with a late equaliser from Corby's Jordan O'Brien keeping the Steelmen in the hat.
While Corby would prove somewhat familiar opposition, with the clubs meeting for the first time in 2012 when they were a Step 2 team, our records suggest that we haven't yet met Soham. The Cambridgeshire side are at the highest level in their history at present, having earned promotion to Step 4 in 2008.
